From October 5–11, 2025, the delegation from Dong Thap University (DThU) took part in a training program on student-centered teaching methods at Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), located in Hämeenlinna, Finland, within the framework of the GreenEdAsia Project.
The program focused on enhancing teaching competence through a combination of theoretical learning, practical activities, experience sharing, and the application of student-centered learning (SCL) models.
In addition to classroom sessions, the delegation had the opportunity to visit a biochar production company and explore HAMK’s training and research facilities, gaining valuable insights into the integration of education, research, and industry — a key strength of Finland’s education system.
The study visit not only provided valuable professional knowledge and hands-on experience for the participating lecturers but also opened up new opportunities for academic collaboration between Dong Thap University and international partners in the fields of green education and sustainable development.
